Simon Says Get Car Magnum TDT 4x4 Shocks
Ford Ranger owner, Simon Leonow, took the step of contacting Monroe Australia to outline his satisfaction with a replacement set of Monroe Gas Magnum TDT 4X4 shock absorbers. Up until making the decision to replace his shock absorbers on this vehicle, Simon had never replaced the shock absorbers in any of his cars across some 29 years of motoring. He had assumed to this point that replacing the Original Equipment shock absorbers wouldn’t make any significant difference.

Frosty's V8 Update - May 2017
The new season started at Monroe’s home city of Adelaide for the Clipsal 500. Qualifying 5th wasn’t a bad start, but Jamie Whincup and I collided while running strongly in the first race. After a spin I fell to the rear, racing to 15th. I started from 12th on Sunday and was well into the top ten by the mid stages. I struggled with car balance and had to conserve fuel to make the end, finishing 14th. The non-championship Grand Prix races were next, this year with four short ten minute qualifying sessions. I qualified 16th and in the first sprint race made up 8 places, in the second race I finished 6th and took 12th in the third. Race 4 saw a major crash at turn one that I got caught up in. I recovered to to finish 15th from the rear of the field.

New Monroe website makes it easier
Frosty's V8 Update - January 2017
My second half of the season proved to be very challenging. At Sydney Motorsport Park I was fastest in final practice but that didn’t translate into strong qualifying form. An 11th place in the opening race followed by a tyre failure in the next one ended my chances of a stronger result at my home event.
