Monroe Shock Absorbers once again joins forces with Australia’s only community based national road safety initiative, Fatality Free Friday, in 2015.

Friday May 29 is the date that will see a number of high profile events take place across the nation, all designed to bring road safety to the absolute front of mind of all road users.

While trying to achieve a single day without any road fatalities across the nation, ultimately the goal of this well established road safety initiative is to achieve long term community change.

Since 2007, Fatality Free Friday has successfully fostered community ownership, addressed complex road safety issues and encouraged those who can make a significant difference in reducing road trauma to do so by taking the Fatality Free Friday pledge at each event or online.

Each year’s events generate major national media coverage and include several high profile identities from government, police and emergency services all the way through to high profile sports stars, including Monroe Safety Ambassador, Mark Winterbottom.

During the 2014 Fatality Free Friday campaign, more than 50,000 motorists and road users signed the Fatality Free Friday pledge to drive safer. Monroe Australia is proud to be a long term sponsor of this event and urges all motorists to take the Fatalty Free Friday pledge on Friday May 29.
